National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) PVWatts Calculator
NREL estimates the energy production and cost of energy of grid-connected photovoltaic (PV) energy systems throughout the world. It allows homeowners, small building owners, installers and manufacturers to easily develop estimates of the performance of potential PV installations.

National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA)
NRCA is one of the construction industry's most respected trade associations and the voice of roofing professionals and leading authority in the roofing industry for information, education, technology and advocacy. Founded in 1886, NRCA is a nonprofit association that represents all segments of the roofing industry, including contractors; manufacturers; distributors; architects; consultants; engineers; building owners; and county, city and state government agencies.

NRCA has more than 3,000 members from all 50 states and 53 countries and is affiliated with 97 local, state, regional and international roofing contractor associations. NRCA contractor members range in size from companies with less than $1 million in annual sales volumes (50 percent of the current membership) to large, commercial contractors with annual sales volumes of more than $20 million. More than half perform both residential and commercial roofing work, and more than one-third have been in business for more than a quarter of a century.

North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP)
NABCEP offers entry-level knowledge assessment, professional certification and company accreditation programs to renewable energy professionals throughout North America. NABCEP provides solar and solar heating installation and technical sales certifications. The NABCEP PV Installation Professional and Solar Heating Installer Certifications have been accredited to the ISO/IEC 17024 standard by the American National Standards Institute.

OnGrid Solar
OnGrid's mission is to help the solar industry develop as rapidly and stably as possible. OnGrid has expertise in the financial payback analysis of solar systems. OnGrid shares this expertise via software tools, classes and research.

Roof Integrated Solar Energy™ (RISE™) Inc.
RISE offers a professional certification, Certified Solar Roofing Professional,™ for individuals responsible for oversight of rooftop solar installations. Founded by the Center for Environmental Innovation in Roofing and National Roofing Contractors Association, RISE Inc. was created to provide a means of evaluating and certifying solar roofing professionals to support the widespread use of rooftop solar energy.

Solar ABCs
The Solar America Board for Codes and Standards (Solar ABCs) is a collaborative effort funded by the Department of Energy. It dedicates experts to transforming solar markets by improving building codes, utility interconnection procedures, as well as product standards, reliability and safety.

Solar Electric Power Association (SEPA)
SEPA is an educational nonprofit organization that enables the transition to a clean energy economy by facilitating utility integration and deployment of solar, demand response, other distributed energy resources and supporting technologies onto the grid.

Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA)
SEIA is the U.S. trade association in the U.S. that represents all organizations that promote, manufacture, install and support the development of solar energy. It has active chapters in 11 states throughout the U.S. SEIA’s 1,000 member companies consist of installers, project developers, manufacturers, contractors, financiers and nonprofit organizations.
